Jacob is Managing Director of PWJ Strategies, a firm providing product development, systems engineering, and business strategy consultation and support. In 2014 he founded the Venture Capital Analytics program for the Rockies Venture Club to leverage Kauffman Foundation research-based initiatives to improve investor activity, enhance due diligence processes, and to increase startup investment exposure for high potential candidates interested in the startup ecosystem.

Prior to PWJ Strategies, Jacob held integrated roles in the aerospace industry. While at the Johnson Space Center he led the facility infrastructure design and development as Chief Architect of the JSC Innovation Design Center, an initiative to accelerate the creation, transfer, and commercialization of technologies developed by the American space program.

As Regional Program Manager for Lockheed Martin Relations he connected entrepreneurs, researchers, and inventors to corporate engineers where they received state funded engineering support through the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program. Jacob also supported the NASA Orion program where he performed product management, design, and manufacturing engineering roles. Jacob is also a co-founder and Vice President of Strategy of the UT Austin LEAD Advisory Board, former President of the Lockheed Martin Leadership Association, and former President of the Johnson Space Center Engineers Without Borders program.

He holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the Cockrell School of Engineering at UT Austin and is a LeaderShape graduate.

As COO of Sintact Medical Systems, Inc., Gali supports the development of non-resorbable medical application films designed to separate adjacent organs from adhering to each other after surgery, acting as scar preventative barriers separating organ and tissue surfaces to significantly reduce the likelihood of scar formation and the associated post-operative complications.

Prior to Sintact he was a Medical Device Innovation Fellow at Northwestern University within the Center for Device Development, an interdisciplinary initiative aimed to accelerate medical device innovation and commercialization in the evolving healthcare landscape, and to translate unmet needs into market-aligned, customer-centric products.

Gali is also a former President and Advisory Board Member InNUvation (now known as EPIC): Northwestern University’s largest and only interdisciplinary entrepreneurship and innovation club.

As a research engineer he developed functional protein hydrogels by characterizing a novel self-assembling mechanism for gel formation rooted in the complexity of protein structure and interactions. Gali holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Certificate of Management for Scientists and Engineers from the Kellogg School of Management.

William Knight, Assistant Program Director
Will brings years of experience working in financial, political, and non-profit industries to investment and market analytics. Skilled in business, accounting, and finance, he supports Integrated Asset Services with real estate market data research and trending in local, regional, and national markets, providing analyses to senior partners.

Prior to IAS Will supported Brown Brothers Harriman in market trading, including future options, swaps, asset-backed securities, hedges, currency Options, and municipal bonds.

Will obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.

Amy Bridego

Amy leverages her business and financial background as a Strategy Consultant for growing companies. Prior to her relocation to Denver, she worked in the Corporate Development and Certification departments of Beachbody LLC, a health and fitness company known for such brands as P90X and INSANITY. At Beachbody she oversaw the company’s first acquisition, lead a cross functional team through the subsequent successful integration, and supported the company’s capital raise campaign.

Prior to Beachbody Amy supported the Valuation and Investment Banking divisions of Duff & Phelps in Boston and Los Angeles. Her valuation advisory experience focused on goodwill impairment testing, employee stock option plan valuations, and purchase price allocations. Her responsibilities focused on building financial models including discounted cash flow, LBO, and comparable company and precedent transaction analyses.

While supporting M&A projects, Amy was responsible for preparing valuation models, marketing materials, confidential information memorandum, and management presentations. Additionally, she identified and contacted potential strategic buyers and financial sponsors and facilitated the due diligence process with multiple parties. Amy has a degree in Business Administration from Boston University.

Tony Perone

Tony Perone is an Instructor of Finance at the U.S. Air Force Academy in the Department of Management where he has taught courses covering Investments and Corporate Finance.

As an Air Force Officer, Tony has served over 9 years as a pilot flying the C-17 Globemaster and Remotely Piloted Aircraft.

He also has experience as a Toastmaster Public Speaker, has worked on 2 startups, and is working on his Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Tony is also an honor graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He holds an MBA and a Master of Science from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Jake Kerr

Jake is currently a student at the University of Denver studying biology, a member of the Pioneer Leadership Program, a Scholar at the El Pomar Foundation, and a founding member and co-president of the entrepreneurial student organization Dynamize.

He also works with Evergreen Digital Media in the areas of International Business & Financial Development, supporting projects in two countries over the past year.

Jake’s two main passions are biotechnology and entrepreneurship, and his career goals include a mixture of these two fields. Jake intends to start his own biotech company by obtaining both a strong knowledge of the technical field as well as business experience.

Matt is the Vice President of Product at FRONTSTEPS, a SaaS company focused on solutions for residential markets.

Matt has held a variety of product management and product development positions at companies such Runzheimer, RouteSmith, First Data, American Express and Janus.

Matt is a certified new product development professional (NPDP), a passionate entrepreneur and an enthusiastic supporter of the Colorado startup community.

Jeff Wolf is the founder of Boomerang Impact. They sell bags made by disadvantaged individuals using upcycled material at BoomerangImpact.com. Jeff has traveled to over 60 countries. He lived in South Africa for three years. In South Africa, Jeff worked as a fund manager for an impact investing firm. He is a CFA Charterholder. Jeff graduated from the University of Denver.

A Kentuckian from Cincinnati, he graduated cum laude from Miami University with a degree in Finance before heading to Louisville, KY where he started his career at J.P. Morgan. After 3 years in Louisville and acquiring the CFA designation, he moved to Denver in August 2014 with his fiancée Christina and their dog Rambo. His deep rooted interest in angel/venture investing and the constant entrepreneurial itch has brought him to the RVC Due Diligence team. He mentors with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, enjoys time outdoors with his friends and family, and loves tackling bucket list adventures and new challenges.

Jessica Rawley started her career working for several small non-profits and business start-ups to establish operating systems, business development strategies, and marketing plans. After doing Fund Development and Public Relations for Habitat for Humanity, Jessica joined the Peace Corps and served as a Small Enterprise Development Advisor in Kenya. Placed with a national conservation organization, she worked closely with community groups to improve and market conservation-based enterprises, namely eco-tourism ventures. This experience prompted her to pursue her MBA in Social Enterprise and understand how entrepreneurship can be used as a tool for sustainable community development. During her MBA, Jessica co-founded Taka Energy, which develops community-scale waste-to-energy facilities that generate renewable energy assets from otherwise useless waste streams. After graduation, she served as a Program Manager for the Global, Social, Sustainable Enterprise MBA program working with students to develop business ventures that addressed the world’s most pressing problems. She then transferred to be the Assistant Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship developing and implementing programs and events that educate students in innovation and entrepreneurship. Jessica now serves as the Campus Director for FVC Mesh-Fort Collins, a unique space for entrepreneurs where they can create and cultivate startups and connect to a growing and thriving community to support them.

Jessica holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from Western Washington University and an MBA in Global, Social, Sustainable Enterprise from Colorado State University.

Will Sullivan is the President and Founder of Goal Life Advisors a financial planning firm that helps people design the life they want to live, achieve it through financial planning, investment management and entrepreneur/business coaching.

Prior to founding Goal Life Advisors, Will was a COO in a private equity backed commercial building services company. Additionally, Will helped start up, support and run multiple operations and subsidiary companies in the oilfield domestically and internationally. His operational knowledge and leadership skills stems from his five years of active duty service as an Army officer to include a 15 month deployment to Iraq from 2006-2008.

Will is a West Point graduate and former college football player for Army. He earned his MBA from SMU Cox School of business and is currently working on his CFP and Masters of Science in Financial Planning.

Michael Schump

Michael brings a life sciences research background and training from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business in the management of technology to the RVC analytics team. While he enjoys exploring diverse areas of innovation, he has a longstanding interest in early stage life sciences and med-tech companies.

Michael has experience in academic, government and private industry laboratories, as well as past and ongoing experience with technology transfer and commercialization. He currently also works with Colorado State University Ventures as a licensing and startup associate. Michael earned PhD and MPH degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University.
