Presenter: Russell T. Manning, Marsh Fischmann & Breyfogle, LLP
Russ Manning represents clients in diverse matters involving intellectual property (IP) rights including patent preparation and prosecution for start-up and established companies. He has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting United States patent applications in a variety of technical fields, including: communication systems, medical devices, medical imaging processing software and systems, aerospace devices, as well as a variety of mechanical systems. In addition, Manning’s practice includes counseling to render legal opinions on patent validity and infringement, IP due diligence support, licensing and counseling as to intellectual property transactions.
Mr. Manning earned his engineering degree from the University of Wyoming, where he focused on thermodynamic and fluid flow aspects of mechanical engineering. He subsequently attended law school and shortly after graduating, joined the Boulder office of Marsh, Fischmann and Breyfogle LLP as an associate. Manning became a member of the partnership in 2007.
