Who’s Coming To the Angel Capital Summit?

Kim Jordan – CEO, Co-Founder New Belgium Brewery

New Belgium is one of the breweries that put Colorado in the center of the craft beer revolution. In 2012, she was CEO of the year in Entrepreneur Magazine and Colorado Biz Magazine.

 

Michael Vaughn – CEO, Co-Founder The Regis Company

The Regis Company is a leadership consulting firm, serving Fortune 500 clients and government agencies in over 40 countries. He’s the author of 2 books, The Thinking Effect and The End of Training.

 

John Kelley – CEO of CereScan Corp

CereScan is an innovative brain scanning company that works with hospitals and NFL players alike. Prior to Cerescan, John was CEO of McData before their $1 Billion exit, an EVP at Qwest, and has held numerous other high-tech executive positions.

 

Greg Berry – Managing Director, Co-Founder at Impact Hub Boulder

Impact Hub is an incubator and innovation space geared toward positive change that has over 50 locations on 6 continents. Greg has been on the founding team of 9 businesses and got his executive start in the ski industry.

 

David Gold – Managing Director, Access Venture Partners

Access Venture Partners is an active, early-stage venture capital firm founded in 1998. David was an engineer at NASA, worked in the Executive Office of the President of the United States, and was a startup founder and CEO before his VC career.

 

Timothy Keating – CEO, Keating Capital ($KIPO)

Keating Capital is a public company that makes investments in pre-IPO ventures. Tim is widely known as an expert in his field, from publishing in technical financial journals to appearing on Fox Business and Bloomberg TV.

 

Brad Bernthal – Director of Entrepreneurship, Silicon Flatirons and Associate Professor at CU-Boulder

Silicon Flatirons provides legal research and support through the CU-Boulder Law School. They also host Boulder BDNT meetups, and Brad is a big factor in the tremendous collaboration between the startup and legal communities in Colorado.

 

David Kalez – Managing Director, Energy & Industrial Technologies, Pacific Crest Securities

Pacific Crest is an international investment bank, and David started their CleanTech practice in 2008. Prior to Pacific Crest, he was an executive in a number of M&A related and investment companies.

 

Timothy Woods, CPA – Managing Director, CBIZ MHM, Shareholder Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.

CBiz MHM is ranked as a top 10 accounting provider in the US. Tim provides outsourced CFO services, is an active angel investor, and was previously the owner of Clarion Mortgage Capital.
